China Cultural Industries Yearbook 2014 is Published and Prof. Li Jiazeng Contributes to It

In April 2016, China Cultural Industries Yearbook 2014 is formally published. It compiled by Editorial Department of China Cultural Industries Yearbook and published by Guangming Daily Press. Mr. Chan Peng Fai, Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs Bureau is the editorial board member and Prof. Li Jiazeng, Executive Director of RCMSED is member of academic committee.

《China Cultural Industries Yearbook introduces annual development of China cultural industries. It is one of the largest reference books in this field. This yearbook emphasizes that all of information is provided and approved by authoritative departments.

All members of the academic committee of China Cultural Industries Yearbook are famous experts, such as Prof. Yuan Jun, Vice-president of Communication University of China, Prof. Fan Zhou, Dean of Culture Development Institute of Communication University of China, Prof. Chen Shaofeng, Deputy Director of Cultural Industry Innovation & Development Academe, Prof. Xiang Yong, Vice-president of Institute for Cultural Industries of Peking University, Prof. Li Fengliang, Dean of Institute for Cultural Industries of Shenzhen University, Prof. Hua Jian, Director of Cultural Industry Research Center of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Prof. Jin Yuanpu, Director of Cultural Creative Industries Institute of Renmin University of China, Prof. Ouyang Youquan, Director of Research Center of Chinese Cultural Industrial Brand of Central South University, Prof. Gu Jiang, Executive Deputy Director of Cultural Industries Research Center of Nanjing University, Prof. Jiang Shuzhuo, Former Party Secretary of Jian University.

The part of Macao in China Cultural Industries Yearbook 2014 is written by Prof. Li Jiazeng and Prof. Wang Zhong who are Professors of CityU. The contents of this part are historical review, development and brand building of cultural creative industries in Macao. It introduces some cultural industries policies of Macao SAR Government. In addition, some cultural activities are introduced in this part, such as 2013 Macao International Form of Cultural Creative Industry, Distinguished Lecture and 2013 Competition and Summit of Tourist Souvenirs Design of Macau. These activities were sponsored or assisted by CityU.

In the recent years, CityU carries out a course of cultural industries management and sponsored or assisted some cultural industries activities. They are beneficial to develop cultural industries and its talent. It’ s the first time CityU’s professors write for China Cultural Industries Yearbook and it shows that CityU’s academic level is recognized.
